Grandpa Zumbrennen and his girlfriend Rusty came to visit us a few weeks ago. We were excited to have them see Fort Riley, Kansas where George's Great Grandpa was stationed. They arrived on Jan 11th in Kansas City around 6:30pm. We stopped off at Wendy's for dinner and then drove to Fort Riley. The drive is about 2 hours away but we are really used to it since it is the closest major airport.
They stayed with us until that Saturday. It was a fun week celebrating birthdays and sightseeing. I was home during the day to show them around a little. Everyone was home the Friday before they left so we all got to spend time together.
Thank you Grandpa and Rusty for visiting us and forever everything that you did!!!
P.S. The dogs miss you and the treats...
