Ian Receives The Priesthood!!!

Ian turned 12 years old on 12/20/2010. In our church at the age of 12 years the boys can receive the Priesthood. Each boy is able to choose for themselves if they would like to recieve the Priesthood and Ian had made the choice to receive the Priesthood. After receiving the Priesthood Ian was called to the office of a Deacon and now able to administer the sacrament on Sundays.

Ian was set set apart for the Priesthood by his Father with the laying on of hands. His Grandfather Papa Sarge (Hilary's dad) was able to travel up for that day and was in the circle. It was a very special day. The following Sunday Ian was able to pass the sacrament for the first time. It was a special day and also special that his Mema (George's Mother) was able to be there.

We are so proud of our little boy or should I say Young man and the choice he had made that day.
