Cub Scout to Boy Scouts

On Friday, Ian passed over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. The evening started with Papa Sarge and YiaYia taking Ian and the family to Steak n Shake for dinner. At 6:30pm we arrived at the church for the Blue and Gold banquet. They served dinner at 6:30pm, which Ian only ate, since we had already eaten.

The Aunt's meet us there for the ceremony. After the dinner the awards show started and Ian was awarded his Webelos badge and Arrow of light. They also awarded the Mothers with Pins for the boys to pin on. The ceremony then concluded with Ian and myself crossing over the bridge from Cub Scout to Boy Scout. He is now on his way to his goal of achieving the Eagle Badge.

We ended the night being treated to Ice Cream by Papa Sarge and YiaYia at Brewster's. Papa Sarge and Ian had the Death by Chocolate. YiaYia and I had the Carmel Sugar Free, and Steph had the most fattening choice but best tasting which was the Apple Cobbler with Ice Cream.
